This record wasn't originally going to be a new concept album - most of the material on it was going to be another one of my YouTube piano playlists designed for passive listening while working etc., more like "Beaches" or "Libraries". It was going to be more inspired by scores to medieval fantasy games like Skyrim. Instead as I was going, the ideas grew and I ended up orchestrating them with strings, electronics, and a few guitars. It ended up turning into a concept album about someone taking ownership of an abandoned mansion on a hill somewhere, and then finding it's overrun with ghosts and other hauntings of the past.
